We are all in the web of the Spider God

The corpses of the ritual are carried off to the copper smiths for preparation of the dance of the Spider God.

When the quick work of the copper smiths is done the skull cavity has been lined with copper drum like sheets and oval balls attached to thick copper wire to create a clanking sound. The knees and elbows are separated and cooper plates and balls attached. Piles of these bodies are tossed into the Spider Pit where they are snatched up by giant spiders and woven into the immense web where sleeps the very very large Spider God. The corpses dangle, their copper inserts clanging and banging with the scurry traffic of the hordes of spiders as they gather their feast.

The Priests attend completely drugged out of their minds. Often carried by a clone servant who was not ready for the heart rite. They lay in large groups on the ground looking up searching the web for their look alike. Gazing on their own image dangling and clanking they drift into horrific dreams of the alternate worlds around them.
